Hello everyone! I know these posts can be a bit controversial but this is my 4th Christmas as a blogger and I've done one every year. This is basically a post showing what I got for Christmas. Some people see this as bragging and that is really not my intention. I'm a very naturally curious person so I personally love to see what people got for Christmas and I know a lot of people are the same. In fact, Christmas and birthday hauls are some of the few posts that I get requested to write from viewers! So if you don't like these sort of posts and you think I'm bragging, please don't read it.
As I get older, the more I find that I don't really have an answer when people ask what I want for Christmas. Since going cruelty free with my make up and skincare a lot of high end brands are off the table for me and I really don't have that same interest in make up that I used to. In fact, I repurchase pretty much the same things over and over again because I know they work for me. So really most of what I asked for was practical stuff. Stationery, bits for my flat, clothing and a few beauty treats thrown in there too. My mum totally surprised me by buying me an air fryer for my flat which I stupidly forgot to photograph. We have a Tefal ActiFry at home which I love using this and this is basically the same thing. I can't wait to get cooking with it when I get back to Edinburgh. My mum also bought me a Filofax and some good pens to write in it with. I absolutely love planning, creating to do lists etc so this seems totally perfect. I love that I can add things and take things out as I go along!
Another present I was really chuffed with was a beautiful Tropic Skincare lipstick from my friend Sarah. I have written about the brand before and mentioned in the blog post that I was interested in trying out their lipsticks and that the rosehip shade for gorgeous. And what did she surprise me with? I just thought that was so thoughtful. And her mum actually bought her the same lipstick. So we've agreed to both wear it the next time we meet up. Snap! My lovely sister also bought me an amazing Soap & Glory gift set which was lovely as it's one of my favourite cruelty free beauty brands. My sister's just turned 14 so it was really sweet of her to buy me such a nice present with her own money!
I'm not going to talk through each gift, but I have photographed most so that's it all! Once again, I am so grateful for all the lovely things bought for me but even more thankful to have the people who bought them for me in my life. I hope you all had a very happy holidays.
