Hello everyone! I was recently sent an email from the lovely people at Nuxe telling me that they're launching a competition. It's called the
Hand Cream / Body Scrub / Oil / Lip Balm / Night Cream
I'm a bit of a hand cream junkie. I'm always wanting to try out hand creams from different brands to see how they hold up. At the moment Crabtree & Evelyn have my gold medal but could it get passed onto Nuxe? I work in an aquarium and it really dries out my hands. In the winter they crack and bleed. So I'm a real hard tester. It sounds promising though, tests were carried out in 'extreme weather conditions' and 96% of the test subjects thought it was a good hand cream!
And then as it's getting back into sunshine weather I could do with getting rid of some dry skin. This body scrub sounds very interesting. Plus I've never tried one that comes in a tube before!
I always thought that because I have oily skin I should stay away from oil based cleansers until I tried one a few months ago. Then I realised that they actually help my skin, a lot. I've yet to try a proper oil. I've read a lot of positive reviews of this so it sounds absolutely perfect. I'd love to try it.
If you're a regular reader of beauty blogs and you've not heard of this lip balm then what blogs are you reading?! This lip balm took our little community by storm a few months ago and everyone's been talking about this non stop. I absolutely love lip balms and getting new ones. At nearly £10 this one isn't exactly cheap but if it's as good as everyone says, then it will be a great investment.
And finally, a night cream. If I'm honest I've never been one to stick to day and night creams. I usually just opt for an all round moisturiser and use it at night and in the morning. But I've been noticing that my skin's starting to dry out a bit(which is bizarre because I have oily skin) and I think a night cream might sort me out. I don't want to buy a really thick moisturiser because if the dry skin is just a phase it will have been a waste of money. I'd like a night cream that I could use in conjunction with my normal moisturiser to 'top up' the moisture a bit. Am I making sense?
Oh and the best part? All of Nuxe's products aren't tested on animals, which fits with my recent decision to go cruelty free. Perfect.
