Hello everyone. A few weeks ago me and some friends took a road trip up to The Kelpies. The Kelpies are these massive horse statues that have been put up in Falkirk, Scotland. I've been seeing photos all over the place of them so I've wanted to go for ages.
It took us about 30-45 minutes to drive there as we were avoiding the motorways. It was a really nice drive though and taking a road trip with your friends is always fun.
We took a picnic with us and we managed to bring the perfect amount of food, we were all more than full but still had snacks left for the drive home. Stuart wasn't very happy about this because he'd hoovered his car that week but tough :P
The weather was really nice. It was a bit windy but it meant that we weren't overly hot. There's nothing worse than when you're trying to walk around and it's so hot that you're absolutely sweating. Yuck.
The Kelpies were really, really nice. They're about the size of a four story building and look really impressive.
There's also a lot of walks around them and there's a really great looking childrens park. Dogs are also welcome so it would be a great place for a family day out.
So what do you think, would you give them a visit?
