Hello everyone! I was tagged to do the music tag by my good blogging friend Char and thought I'd give it a go as I don't often talk about music on my blog!
|My beautiful guitar|
What's your favourite type of music?
This changes a lot, but at the moment I'm really loving acoustic/folk music. I really think there is no better sound than someone who knows their way around an acoustic guitar! My music taste varies quite a lot which I'm glad to say, I don't like to restrict myself to one specific genre.
What's your least favourite type of music?
This would be tie between "chart", heavy screamo and country western. My parents are big on country western music so I've spent one too many car journeys listening to Alan Jackson(who they went all the way to Philadelphia to see once!).
What's the best gig you've ever been to?
Oh it's hard to pick! My first was seeing Bowling For Soup at Glasgow's O2 Academy and that was great! The first time I saw Paloma Faith was at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, that was amazing because I was one from the barrier. I'd probably have to say You Me At Six at the Corn Exchange because I was with some great people and the atmosphere of the gig was the best out of any I've been to.
What albums are you listening to at the moment?
Mainly Jill Jackson's Get Away Driver & Josephine's Portrait & Skerryvore's World Of Chances.
What's your favourite band/artist?
I really can't choose. 30 Seconds To Mars; My Chemical Romance; Alice Cooper; Bowling For Soup; Paloma Faith; Jill Jackson; Josephine; You Me At Six and Eric Hutchinson.
If you could instantly be able to play an instrument which one would you choose?
On first thought I said to be really good at guitar as I can already play but I'm not very good. But on second thought I'd go for cello or violin, I love listening to 'modern' songs covered on string instruments.
