Recently I've been actively trying to take my camera more places with me, and actually get it out whilst I'm there and take lots of photos. Since getting my camera I'm a bit ashamed to say that the photos are mostly of my dog and ones for my blog and I want to change that. I thought I'd do a little post of some of the photos I've taken recently. Which I guess is a bit hypocritical as these 'not blog photos' are now blog photos but I do love a good photo heavy blog post every now and then.
I went to Edinburgh on Sunday night with some friends to check out Winter Wonderland. Their big wheel this year is so much fancier than last years. I didn't get the chance to go on it as it's way too expensive and we were a bit rushed for time but I'm sure I'll be back in soon.
Here's a nice wee photo of my friends. When I had my older camera I didn't really mind asking strangers to take photos of me and a group of friends as my camera was so old and crappy that I didn't really think anyone would actually want to steal it. I'm not so comfortable doing this with a dslr so this will have to do. I know you're all dreadfully heartbroken at not getting to see my face. Stay strong.
How gorgeous are these wind chimes? In fact how gorgeous is everything on that stall?
I actually took this photo of my mac n cheese to send to Charlotte as we had a Twitter conversation about it(ie me: I'm getting mac n cheese, Charlotte: now I want mac n cheese). I thought I'd take photos with my camera and not my phone just for that extra degree of in focus torture and I really liked the way this photo turned out. I actually forgot to eventually send it to her but I hope you're seeing this now ;)
My sister bought me a Clean Cotton Yankee Candle for Christmas last year and I've only just gotten round to burning it. It's absolutely gorgeous. It's not exactly an overwhelming scent but it just smells so fresh and lovely.
And what's Christmas without a tree? I hope you have a lovely weekend.
